Grade 3 Science curriculum, instruction, and assessment help each student to:
- Explore the topics of animal adaptations, ecosystems, and the impact of temperature or other outside factors
- Research, design, and build birdfeeders
- Understand the interdependence of skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems of the human body
- Learn how rocks and minerals cycle through earth
systems
Social Studies
Grade 3 Social Studies curriculum, instruction, and assessment build on students’ understanding of the Town of Trumbull to help each student:
- Compare the history and geography of the Town of Trumbull with at least one other town in the United States and at least two towns or regions in other parts of the world
